Tho English wheab market is steady. The Continental market has an improved tendency and the American is unchanged. For cargoes of Australian wheat, new crop, on the passage, sellers are asking 395, while for New Zealand on the passage the average is 375. New Zealand flour ex store, is at an average of 26s 6d. Colonial beans, 38s. Tallow : Eleven hundred casks were offered at the sale& to-day, and sold at the following rates : — Mutton, medium, 27s : beef, medium, 265. Candies : De Roubaix, Jenar, and otlur leading brands are sd. The wool sales are proceeding, and tbere is a general improvement. French buyers operate freely, and the quantity of wool catalogued is 223,000 bales, and the quantity sold 203,000.
