SEVERE GALES IN ENGLAND. LONDON, Feb. 11.

The coast of England baa been swept by a gale of very fierce character. Numerous casualties have occurred, and many wrecks have already been reported. The wall of a factory at IJolton collapsed and buried two cottages which stood close to it. Two women and four children were buried beneath the mass of bricks and mortar, and the bodies of the killed were frightfully mangled. A terrible catastrophe has happened at Pembroke, where a ferry-boat, containing a number of passengers, was swamped. Seven women,, pne boy, and a man were drowned. '
