ROMAN CATHOLICISM. London, January 19.
It is reported that at a private gathering of colonial bishops, after the Lambeth Conference, loud complaints were heard of the way in which the Roman Catholic Church is increasing its influence in the colonies, This was attributed by some speakers to the fact that many of the Anglican clergymen are milksops, or men of social intellectual calibre, quite unfitted for positions they hold.
