MEMO R Y.

Often ere sweet sleep steals o'er 7ne, When reclining on the pillow , In a vision spread before me. Scenes I see beyond the billow. Then my thoughts will back meander, Through the years, so full of change. And with feelings, soft and tendor, Through the cells of memory range. Silent theu in fancy stealing Out from their allotted places, Like some mystic glass revealing. Shows the dear but distant faces. But though parted here tor ever. We may meet in realms above, Where no earthly change can sever In that Paradise of love. Charles E. Hakvie.
