PROPOSED FOOTBALL TOUR. Wellington, January 14.
Tins proposal to sond a football team to England is being warmly taken up, and arrangements are progressing. One oi the gentlemen interested is" going to England shortly, and will endeavour to arrange matches. It is proposed to play only first-class matches, and to limit the number to about 40. If the tour is ! made tho team will leave about August. !
