£32 9 4 Resolved that the balance sheet, as read, be received. Presentation of Fower Bulbs ; The following letter was read from Mi J. C. Firth ; Palace Hotel, Te Aroha, Jan, Bth, 1889. Hon. Sec. Domain Board, To Aroha. Sir,-7j-With the view of assisting the Board to increase the attractions of the Domain, my wife, Mrs J. C. Firth, desires your acceptance of a case of bulbs of vaiious kinds. These bulbs can be planted in beds properly prepared now, or at any time within t|ie next two months Mrs Firth also desires me to say that in the proper season she will present to you a quantity, of tulip and hyacinth tyu^bs. Resolved, that a letter of thanks be sent Mr and UvTrs Firth for their forethought and kindness in thus assisting to have the Domain made more attractive. Annual Meeting: The business forwhich the monthly meeting 1 had been adjourned having been trangacte^,, the Chairman referred to the mistake that had been made through the annual meeting for the election of Chairman, esc.. $xed by order m Council to be held pn the second Tuesday in December, not having been then held. He however, by the Public Domains Act held, office, until his successor was appointed.
