MURDER AT TONGA.

The s>.s. blichinoncl \va& to call there and leave for Auckland direct on the 25th December. A mmder was committed on tlie evening of the 2Sth ultimo near the English Consulate. A Tongan, in a fit of jealousy, killed a young girl just married, and then gave himself up to the authorities.
