At the Warden's Court yesterday the following licensed holdings were granted : — Perseverance and Sunbeam at Temata, Consols, Hape Creek. Application was made by Mr Adam Porter for three months' protection for the Crown, Priory, Sufcvo, Sunny Corner, Keep It Dark, Monastery and Abbey licensed holding? at Karangahake, He explained that almost the whole oi these mines were included in the area recently floated in Glasgow. The new manager was now on his way here, and the machinery had been shipped on the 28th of last month. There were now eight men at work. The Warden granted protection for two months.
