The reel whicti was broken down to-day did not come up to expectation, only shewing blotches in the stone. There has come h .slight change in the underlay, vrhich has caused the reef to be more open, but the ground continues to shew good indications of gold being in the locality. There is about 501b ot stone on hand. The tribnteis are working on different; reefs, getting a little gold and crushing stuff on hand, they have about 61b of picked stone."
