The Supermtendentrof th^ Cable" Company at La Perouse supplies the following with reference fco the thunderstorm yesterday : —"A rain and thunderstorm of exceptional violence occurred this morning immediately after closing. The lightningstruck the Government line at the fourbh pole from the station, shattering insulators.
