A leitei was produced written by the witness to his brothers, stating that he thought he could make a tew pounds, but could not unless prepared to swear queer things. His bi others wired, exhottmg witness to contradict the statements made at previous examinations, and offered 10 pay costs, but the latter adhered to his evidence as truth.
