Voices out in the twilight, Softly I hear them call, , " Blanche ! there is no one like her ! She is the queen of them ail." Loving and tender-hearted, Sweetness dwells in her face. Sure all the lo* eliest graces In her nature meet and embrace*. Voices out in the moonlight! What do I hear them say I " Love in her heart is sleepingHe will awake some day." Happy the one to wake him V Would ie nught fall to me To win the love of a, maiden So gentle and true as she. - Voices out in the darkness, Calling out foi-tfce light — "Her eyes have hidden their glory, .And left us out in the night." Loveliest eyes, soft and tender, Love in them dreaming lies. When the lids lift from their splendour Darkness with hurried wing iiies. Flowers and birds are singing.; " Blanche " is the theme of their song ; It is " Blanche ! sweet -Blanche !" they are singing ' ' v Singing the* whole'cfay long.
