FLOATING OF A TE AROHA MIINING CLAIM. Thames, Nov. 22.
Yesterday afternoon a cable message was received in town from Glasgow, stating that the New Era special claim had been floated into a company. The wording of the telegram was :—": — " Apprise Warden that Fergusons special claim floated." The claim is situated afc Waiorongomai, and contains 164 acres. A cable message, " Transfer completed," was also received yesterday by Mr J. Abbott from his London agents, Messrs Watkins, Blythe, and Dutton, in reference to the same property. The floating of the Company had been delayed some months, owing to the ore sent Home by Mr Abbott havingproved disappointing. Now, no doubt, the company which has purchased the property will introduce the latest appliances and most efficient machinery for the treatment of the ores.
