Wellington, Nov. 21. PERSEVERANCE MINE. The poll of shareholders in the Perseverance gold mine at Terawhibi resulted in the proposod sale being negatived by 10,175 shares to 8,500.

NUGGETS FOUND AT HUTT. A man engaged pile-driving: on the property of W. H. Devien, Upper Hubt, discovered a couple of small nuggets. A further search is being made, but it is thought the find is not an important one.

Dunedin, Nov. 22. At Cardrona, Robinson Bros. have banked 271b weight of erold. A small rush has set; in, and payable ground is being taken up for a considerable distance.

Thame3, Nov. 22, Saxon. — A parcel of 301b of picked stone was obtained yesterday afternoon from the ninth stope on the footwall reef. The lode is at present rather pinched, but the quartz shows strong colours of gold. There is no change to report from the other stopes. The trial crushing of 10 loads from the reef at No. 5 level has been finished for a yield equal to about lOdwt of gold per load, which is better than was expected, as no gold was seen in the quartz. There are 4600z of amalgam on hand as the result of the past weeks operations.' Prince Imperial. — There is very little change to report from this mine. The south crosscut in the western end at No. 2 level is penetrating a nice class of sandstone, and is now in about 20ft. Colours of gold are occasionally seen in the stopes on the hanging wall of No. 1 reef over No. 3 level. Waihi G.M.Co.— -It was expected that a preliminary trial of the Waihi G.M.Co. 's plant would have taken place at Waihi this week, but everything is not in readiness, and it is probable that two or three weeks will elapse ere the trial can be made.
