Buckland reports at Remuera, Thursday : — Dairy cattle in short supply, and sold more freely. Store cattle of all classes also better worth. Fat Joattle in full numbers, and kept last week's values, viz., from 11s to 16s per lOOlbs. Drafts of good steers brought 15s per lOOlbs. Fat sheep were in small numbers, and better worth. Shorn wethers sold from 9s 6d to 12s 6d ; wethers in their wool 13s to I7s each. Lambs in small numbers sold equably throughout sale, those killing from 35lbs to 4rOlbs brought 7s 6d each. House fed pigs of moderate weight sold satisfactorily, realising fully 3d the lb, killed ; but coarse pigs, whether fat or store, were at low prices.
