Flour Market.— Wholesale : Flour, best roller, £13 Os ; second, £12 Os ; Southern flour, £9 10s to £10 10s; bran, £5; bran, ton (sacks included), £4 10s; Southern do., £4 10s ; local sharps, £4 10s ; Southern do., £5 10s; cabin bread, £15; oatmeal (25's), £11 10s to £12; oats, 2s 9d to 2a lid: maize, 2s 9d; local potatoes, £4; Southern potatoes, £4 10s: pearl barley, £21 to £22 per ton: beans, os 3d ; onions, 8s to 9a. All grain, chaff, oatmeal > etc., sold including sacks.
Kauri Gum.— We have to report a firm and active inarkot for the last month, a large business having been done at about the following quotations :— "Fair to good ordinary, £30 ; superior parcels, £31 and upwards; East Ct-ast, £43 to £44. Supplies for October to date, 407 tons.
Coal and Firewood Market. — Coal ; Newcastle at yard, 38s to 37s 6d per ton: Bay of Islands (scarce), at< mines, 13a, afc yaids, 245; steam, 245; hemso, delivered, 30s; Waikato, at mines, Bs, 12s; at Auckland, 18s to 225; Taupiri, at mine, Bs, 12s; at Auckland, steam, 17s 6d; household, delivered, 24s to 25a; Whangarei. at mino, 9s 6d; yard, steam, 17s 6d ; housohold, 235 ; delivered, 25s ; Miranda, at mines, 8s to 11s ; at Auckland, 17s to 20s. Manures.— Bonedust: Sydney, £7 to £8, according to quality; bonefiour, £8 to £8 10s; Auckland, £8 ; Peruvian guano, £17 ; Long Island do., £4 10s, bags includod ; Mson's fertiliser, £7 to £14 ; superphosphate, first quality, £6 to £6 10s ; second quality, £7 103 to £8 ; Craigs lime, 35s to 40s per ton.

Bricks at Avondale, 30s per 1,000; town yards, 58s, delivered 41s. Messrs Arthur and Buddles Weekly Report.—Business generally has been better than last week. Produce was in short supply in the early part of the week, but entries for Friday's market sale wore fairly full. Af ow lines of new olieeso met with ready salo at 3Jd to 4?cl, old of good quality scarce. New potatoes came forward freely, but the majority were unripe. Bacon and hams in good supply, and satisfactory sales were made. Fresh butter plentiful, good corned very scarce. The following auction sales have been held during the week :—: — On Monday, at 11, several properties were offered by order of the Registrar of the Supremo Court. A large attendance at the sale, but no competition, each lot passing to the mortgagee. Subsequent to the sale wo sold an allotment fronting Remuera Road at £3 10s a foot. On the same day sales of household furniture, etc., were heldatNewmarketandKyberPa&s Road ; both were well attended, and satisfactory prices realised. Wednesday's furniture sale at the mart was fairly attended, as was also a sale of drapery on Thursday ; at both good business was done. Friday's market sale was a marked improvement on the previous few weeks ; buyers were very numerous, and prices on the whole ruled high. Poultry and pig pen 3 were well filled, competition brisk, and first-rate prices realised.
