Williams, owner of the iaee hoi-se .Sultan, sued Patrick Campbell, one of the stewards of the Plumpton Pnik races, for C2B 10s, amount of prize monej in the Winter Handicap, which had net been paid. Non-payment is not denied. Hub it is contended that stewards are not liable. The point will be argued, on Saturday .
MELBOURNE CUP SCRATCHING. AJkmjourms, Sepb. 11. Folly has had been scratched for the Melbourne Cup.
