Blenheim, August 22. Tho Supreme Court Criminal Sessions were opened to-day by Mr Justice Richmond. In his charge to the Grand Jury His Honor said the only case of special interest was one of arson— a grave crime that too often went unpunished. He commented on the frequency of the offence. Middleton, for laiceny, pleaded guilty and sentence was defened. A. Edelstone, alias Huddlestone, alia" Edwaids, alias Edmunds, chained with" the laiceny as a bailee of a gun, pleaded guilty. Two previous convictions were shown on the record. He got two years' hard labour in Terrace Gaol.
