Dunedin , August 23. ALLEGED EMBEZZLEMENT.
At the City Comb yesterdaj' Oeo, L. Matfche.-on, trustee to tho Druidc, was charged with embezzling tho lodge funds. After some evidence had been adduced, the accused was remanded for eight days. Bail was allowed, the amount boing fixed at £300.
