FIRE AT HAWERA. AN UNFORTUNATE BAKER. HAWERA, August 23.
A rißi: broke out ab 12.30 last night i n High -street, by which Langley's Bakery was destroyed and two other small buildings seriously damaged. These are the piemises that weie injured by the fire in July. Lnngley's building was insured for £100 in the Phtoniv Office. The stock and furniture valued at I*lso, wereuninsured, pro-pos-alswhichweremade having been recently declined. The fire broke out in an ofhee where Mr Langley had £60 putaway in bank notes, he having been too late to bank the money that afternoon. Mr Langley lost £60 worth of stock in the July fire, and had now lost his all.
