THEATRICALS IN COURT.
In the District Court Melbourne, Aaron Saxon sought bo lecovcrceitain goods from Hugo Gorlitz, manager of the Amy Sherwin Opera Company, which belonged to plaintiri. The Bench paid that if the goodh were i ot returned to Saxon, a distress warrant would be issued foi the amount of £50. In the ca&a of Uock, stage manager for the late Amy Sherwin Opera Company, who obtained a judgment for £50, with two guineas costs, an application was made to have the tase reinstated, but it was l'etused. Mr Hugo (Jorlitz, theatrical manager and husband of Miss Amy Sheruin, the celebrated privia donna, was violently assaulted in Melbourne by Avon D. Saxon, a realist and member of the late Slierwin Opera Company. Hcrr Gorlitz received a terrible blow on the head which stunned him. He has applied for a warrant for Saxon's airest. The assault occurred through the late law dispute.
