RAILWAY FREIGHT. DEDUCTION IN THE RATES TO TE AROHA.
Mr BlucK, the station-master at Te Aroha hns received a memorandum, dated July 20fch, from Mr C. Hudson, (district Traffic Manager)* with reference to the reduction of the goods rates to Te Aroha, stating 1 that on and after Monday 23rd inst, all kinds of merchandise trill be carried from Auckland and Newmarket 1 ,0 To Aroha for 25s per ton dead weight. Agricultural produce, (which includes among other articles of produce, flour, wheat, oats, potatoes, &c), 14s 8d per ton, in 2 ton lots,
