In (his case the Warden pointed out to applicant, that the ground as applied for took in an area of ground purchased by Government from the Natives for the purpose of enlarging the Hot Springs Domain ; and it was therefore marked as a reset ye. x^pplication adjourned till next Court day, to enable applicant to decide meantime whether he "woulii take up the portion not included in the Domain- reserve, or not, Alfred Scott, Residence Site Hill Track, Waiorongomai. In reply to the Warden, applicant stated he believed the ground applied for was included within that known as Fergusou's Special Claim, but the granting of it was not likely to affect mining operations in any way.
