Yesterday the engineer of the \ ictorian Water Supply Department, Mr E. Crechio arrived for the purpose of gauging the River Murray. Ttis understood that the engineet , who has jusb been to ChatTiey Brothers' colony at Mildurn, will next visit Echuca and other ports alon^ the course of the river with a view of obtaining the volume of discharge. Mr Crechie "will remain at Albui'y for a week.
