The 'get up' in many instances was both novel and striking ; indeed the dresses and costumes throughout exhibited much taste, and resource of imagination on the part of the designer?, Miss Newby> who we understand, planned ami supervised the carrying out of tho whole arrangements, is to lie congratulated on the unqualified success that attended her efforts. Mrs Rokson presided at the piano during the evening, in her usual efficient fctyle ; wliilnt the ttov. Mr Marshall humourously described the scenes depicted in t!ie several tableaux.
