The Government have no intention of ieadjustinpr the railway freights with a view of fostering the agricultural and pustoial
interests of the colony. The Minister for Works has, however, informed Mr Anderson that it it) his intention to set up a com mittoe with the view of considering thotaritV as regards the carriage) of our agricultural and pastoral products. The Government recognise that the matter ih an important one,' and uill ghe it every consideration.
