THAMES Last Night. Several of the miners discharged From the Cambria last week have been successful in obtaining employment at Marototo and left for that place this morning. In compliance with instructions received from Sydney on Saturday last, Mr J. H. Moore Avho is supervising opcrat'ons in the Morototo North (t.M.C, has engaged 10 minors on behalf of that Company, and work is to be proceeded with immediately. In the Marototo Gold and Silver Mining Co.'s mine (formerly the Piospectors), ten or twelve men are employed, Capt. T. C. Bayldon, harbour master, has been appointed coast-wniter in the Customs department for the" Port of Thames at a salaiy of £20 per annum.
