In a Northern paper, under "Marriages appears the ominous line, " Nemesis in our next ;" and a Southern paper inserts a funeral notice with the heading, "Remarkable Rise in Landed Property." Lord Mansfield, who was in many ways an eccenfciie judge, once persisted in trying cubes on Good Friday.
