TllE rowing race at Rockhampton to day between Hainan and Tiiclcett was won by llanlan by six lengths. Later. Kivkh vmiion, .lime 13. The sculling match between llanlan and Trickett \\\v* row ed ro-day. A good start was eilected. Haulan got away first, and maintained the lead for the first mile, when Trickett spin toil and obtaiued first place. His dibit soon relapsed, however, and llanlan again took the lead, without ettort. The remainder of the race w. i*. a tame procession, Hanlan winning easily by six lengths. Time, '2iminO\sec.
