MOLLOY GOLD-SAVING PROCESS.
Tu\Mh^, this day. Tin. Lriul of the Molloy plant wab to have taken place this morning previous to Mr Molloy 's departure ior Auckland at route for England. The machinery had only been in motion two or three minutes, however, when the county authorities tinned off the watei, and the trial could not therefoie be made, Lb is stated that the caute of this action is that the owners of the battery are in arrea with the water late to the Council, but on the other hand the Molloy Company contend that this is no fault of theirs, as they purchased Air Fiber's interest in the battery conditional upon him paying the amount in ai rears for water. The action of the County Council i.- generally condemned, and there is likely to be something further heard about the matter. Mr Molloy left ior Auckland )>y the s.f>. Rotomahana at 10 o'clock thifc morning.
