CUSTOMS RETURNS. Wellington, April 3.
The amount of Customs revenue collected during the iinancial year just ended was £1 ,256,225, or £6,225 5s 3d more than the estimate. The receipts for la&t month at the fi>u i- chief ports were : — Auckland £22,277 ; Wellington, 1 15,469; Lyttelton, £16,346; Dunedin, L'i 1 5,8ti6 16& 2d. The receipts on beor duty show a deficit of £2,006, the total amount being £51,993,
