WAIKATO NOTES.
Irl.YMrLrox, March 26. Tiik Ro\. Mr Dellow, of Trinity We^leyan Church. Hamilton, was presented last night by Mr N. R. Co\-, with a gold solitaire set, accompanied by an address, and Mrs .Salmon presented Mrs Dellow with a handsome silver cruet. The presentations were made ou behalf of the congregation. Mr Dellow, whose term of office expires next week, thanked the donors for the presents in a few well chosen words. Mr Dellow will be succeeded by the Eev. MrCarr. At an extraordinary meeting of the Hamilton Library Committee last night, Mr W. A. (Sraham tendered his resignation as Chairman of Committee, which was accepted- A vote of thanks was accorded him foi past -ei vices. Mr A. Scott wa3 elected to the vacant position. A farewell service was accorded to th» Rev. Mr Mather of Te Awamutu (in consequence- of liia leaving the district) on Wednesday evening. After tea a concert took place 'which was largely attended, and highly /irpieciatecl by those present.
