Chinese Lepers in Northern Queensland.

A telegram from Georgetown, Queensland, states that some Chinese lepers have been there for some time, and that they have been cohabiting with the aboiiginals. The disease is spreading amongst the aboriginals. An enthusiastic public meeting was held at Brisbane, when resolutions were parsed urging the Colonial Secretary to take immediate action to prevent the further spread of leprosy on the Ridge goldtield.
