Paeroa, March 17. OHINEMURI RACES.
Thk Ohinexnuri Racing Club held its meeting here to-day. There was a large attendance of the public, and the weather during the day was delightful, though the morning gave promise of a bad day. Owing to the downpourof rain during lastnight the course was rather heavy and one or two slight casualties happened by horses falling in rounding one of the turns which was extra greasy. The meet, however, passed off without any serious mishap and the following are the re&ults : — Hurdle Race 15so vs. —Bradley and Co. 's Pipi, Ist : McWilliam'a Prospector, 2nd. Hack Hurdles, 7sovs.— Dickey's Flora, Ist ; Dinar's Botherem, 2nd. Maiden Plate, 7sovs. — Brown's Clarion, 1 ; Quintinan's Hanlan, 2nd. Oiiinkmuri Cor, 20sovs. — Dickey's Recruit, Ist ; Hunias' Try Fluke, 2nd. Maori Race, 7sovs. — Duhar's Navigator, Ist ; Anna's Barney, 2nd. Publicans' Purse, lOsovb. — Dickey's lie emit, Ist ; Dickey's Weasel, 2nd. Consolation Race, ssovs. — Dickey's Weasel, Ist.
