The Ohinpmuri Racing C!nb hold their usual St Patiicks Day mcctingon Saturday j last when there was a large attendance) of the general public on the course. A very heavy fall of rain occurred in the morning', but by ten o'clock the weather had cleared and continued fine during the day. The following are the results of the races : — Handicap Hurdles, 15 soys. 2 miles over 8 flights, 3ft Gin huidles. T. Bradley's Pipi, lOpt 121b (N. Ferguson) ... ... ... 1 J. McWilliam's Prospector, 9st 71b (C.Ralph) 2 N. Dickeys Fly, lOst 51b (W. Halton) 3 Company and Dick Deadeye also ran. Fly balked and ran oft* the course nt tho third hurdle, which completely spoiled his chance. Recruit the favourite was scratched half an hour prior to the race. Hack Hurdles of 7 sows. 2 miles, eight flights. N. Dickey's Flora, list, (W. Dickson) 1 llaorasßotherem,lost 121b (Native) 2 McWilliam's Flying Buck, 9st(Ralph)3 Won easily. Flying Buck ran off, and threw his jockey who was slightly hurt. Maiden Plate, of 7 soys, W. F. A. 1£ miles. It Browns, Clarion, Bst 111b (Maxwell) V J. Quinlivan's nanlan, Bst 131bs (Quinlivan) ••• ••• 2 C. S. Faimer's Tintacks, Bst 131b (T. Quinlivan) 3 Won easily. Tintacks fell at the corner. Miori Race, of 7 soys, 1£ miles. Haoras Navigator 1 Hunia's Barney 2 Tniwhiwhi's Little Nell 3 Ohinemnri Cup Handicap of 20 soys, 2 miles. N. Dickey's Recruit, Bsc lib, (J: Ilntton) ... ... 1 T-Tunias Tryfluke, 7at 121b (Butler) 2 i R., Brown's Kenilwuith, Bst 121bs, J (Maxwell) ... ... 3 Colonist also run. Weasel, Early Boy, and Clnrion were scratched. Recruit won the race easily, althouuh Tryfluke was a good second. Kenil worth was quite out of form. Pnblicnns Purse of 10 povs, If milp. N. Dickey's Recruit, (J. Hntton) 1 N. 'Dtek^yH Weasol. (Davern) 2 J. McWiiliam's Ocean Bird, (Ralph) 3 Pipi and Ko nil worth wore distanced Tryfluke was scratched. Consolation Race, Sso^p, 1 mile Dickey's Weasel, (Ilatton) ... 1 Toiwh'iwhi's Little Nell, (Native) 2 Tryfluke ran off at tho corner.
