TO OUR GALLANT MARINES.
While we're wishing a Happy New \ear al around, Not a motto nor sone have I seen. Saying—" God bless him wherever lie's found, The gay and the gallant marine." So we'll bid him a welcome to-day, For he's loyal and true to his Queen. Hurrah ! and God bleas him. we say, And a cheer for our gallant Marine. When grave rumours of war are near us, we pray 14 God bless our defonders and Queen ; But let us remember with pride every day Tno gay and the ga lant marine. So we'll bid him a welcome to-day, For he's loyal and true to his Queen, Hurrah ! and God bless him. we say, And a cheer for our gallant marine. On shore, they're the pride and delight of the fair, In war they're the first on the scene ; They're a 6 brave and as true as their brothers in blue, , . So hurrah for our gallant Marxnc. So we'll bid him a welcome today, For he's loyal and true to his Queen. Hurrah ! and God bless him, we say, And a cheer lor our gallant Marine.
