Miscellaneous Notes on Ireland.
The City of Limerick was proclaimed, on Nov. 14th, under the Crimea Acb. The Court of Queen's Bench, Dublin, on Nov. 16th, quashed the verdict of the Coroner's jury at Mitchell'stown in tho case of the victims of tho police shooting on Sept. 19th. The verdict of wilful murder again&t (-leorgo Freeman and eight emergency men for shooting the old man Kinseila, at Coolgreany, County Wexford, on Sept. 28, ha? been confirmed. The tenants on the County Down estates of Lord Londondery, tho Loid Lieutenant, havo declined to accept a offer of 50 per cent, reduction in their rents, and will carry out their determination to enter the Land Couit. A party of disguised Moonlighters forced an entrance into a hou^e nearTralce, County Kerry, on the night of Nov. Bth, and shot the owner, Quirk©, in the prcsenco of his family. At a meeting of landlords in the County of Armagh, Nov. Bth, resolution? wore adopted declaring that the landloids did not wi-ih to sell their property. A wairant having been issued for the airost of Mr Pyne, M.P. , for inciting resistance at en ictions, ho, on the 9th November, enconced himself in his Liafarney Castle, which lie had provisioned for a siege of six months, and defiei tho police to enter. Fifteen members of the National League were sentenced at Kirlrush on November 12fch to one month's imprisonment at hard labour. The Gaelic Association disbanded on November 12th, after a stormy meeting at Thurle^. Each member accused the other of crooked business. The Freeman's Journal mourns the dissolution.
