T^ttcrsaH's Club had a meeting last ni^ht for the purpose of calling over the odds for the V.X.C. Derby and Melbourne Cup. There \va:< a fairly representative meeting of betting men, biio liable real business was done. Mr M. Gallagher presided, and the following quotations weie given :—: — Y. R.C. One of our well-known sportsmen received a cablegram from Melbourne this morning giving Thunderbolts price as 100 to 8, and tipping Abeicorn and Oakleigh for the double,
