The Proposed Annexation of Fiji to Victoria.
Afc a meeting of the Melbourne Chamber of Commerce a letter was read from the Levuka Chamber of Commerce containing; a copy of a lesolution passed by that body, embodying their views on the annexation of Fiji to Victoria. The resolution is as follows :— " That the public movement for the annexation of this colony to Victoria meets cith the hearty sympathy and support of t2iis association, and the object in view should materially benefit and promote- the general welfare of the commercial interest of the colony."
