Messrs Smith and party, who left Hamilton for Maungatautari, beyond Cambridge, in order to further prospect the country from where some specimens of gold-bearing stone had been obtained by Charles Hall and Bill O'Neill, returned to Hamilton late lafet night with two bags of specimens. The stone looks really promising, and there can be no doubt but that the country is auriferous. This is another important find, and bids fair to turn out a success.
