A general cleaning up for fhc Monnrtery mino took place at Railey's mill in the early part of the week, but so far the results have not transpired. Ten lots hnve been invited for repairs to the Woodstock's water race, which will be in demand very soon for the purpose of suppling 'motive power to work the Company's stone breaker. Messrs. Phillips and RonyPaeron, have made, arrangements with the tributers in the Kenilworth mine, to purchase ore on its assay value for shipment to the old country. The Diamond mine is said to be look in^ fairly well, and this has created a demand for scrip, of which the market value is about ninepeiu'c. Several parties of tiibuters in the Tranhoe mine are breaking out good stone, which will be subjected to battery treatmeni veiy shoitly, and payable returns aie expected. The clean up fioin the Rose mine on Saluiday last, resulted in a- i\tum of 25ozs from 5 t'MU. OWIiAttOA. Farmer and party, tributers in the Smile of Foitune mine, are busily engaged in breaking out another crushing from their block, whcie the stuff is equally as good as that ftom uhMi the last return of o\er 4 ounces per ton was obtained. Woods and paity, .tributers in the same mine, are nho woiking on good crushing din, which will pay them very well for breaking and tie.ument.
