Heavy Floods in Victoria. MILES OF COUNTRY INUNDATED.

Heavy floods are reported in the Goulbuvu Valley. The river is within a few feefc of the great flood of 1870, and now registers 3Ht. above summer level. The town of Yea is inundated, many people having taken refuge in the trees on account of the water surrounding their hou^e.-. The Campaspe is in flood, and has oxerflowed its banks at Rochester, uojw v. hich it is a mile in width. At Waugaratta the Chens and Ring Rheis are^eiy high, and fears of destructive iioods aiv entertained on account of the snow milting on the rangerf. Ko loss of life ha-* been reported horn place-? inundated, but. so\eral nanow escapes fioin diowning inclined. The damage done to piopeity is \ery serious.
