The Xawil Biigade, under Capfiin-Com-mandanb Loßoy, turned out with good eflect. Marching up Queen-fetivet fiom the Whaif with torches and coloured iire>>, their progress being' maiked by coloured^ fires being lit at -wiriouK, points upon the line of march. This item in the celebration Ava 3 an important one. The companies represented were :— Auckland N.-uals, under Lieutenants, Parker and Smith ; Ponsonby Navals, under Captain Morpeth and Lieutenant Millar ; Waitemata Navals, under Captain Hitchens and Lieutenants Webb and Wilson. Aftex perambulating Queen, Customs, Albert, Hobson, Pitt, Karangahape, vSymonds, and Princes' street, the National Anthem was sung at the Drill-shed, and a good supper indulged in.
