The Representation Commissioners have applied themselves diligently to their work ever since their arrival in Wellington, but they do not expect to be able to finish their labours and make their report to the Government in less time than that allowed to them by the Act. They have already blocked out the electorates of both islands roughly, bub these temporary divisions have yet to be carefully revised, and the effect of the provisions of the Act upon them fully considered. Meanwhile, the proposed allotments remain a sealed book.
