WAITEKAURI.
Mason and party tributers in the Young ftcw Zealand mina, crushed a 10 ton parcel of general quartz at the Maungakara battery last week for a leturn of lloz 15dwt3 retorted gold, and there is plenty of the same class of stuff in sight ready for breaking out. In the Waitekauri mine, Ilollis and party, tributers, are breaking out enough stuff to keep a few head of stampers running continually, and they should have a good return when they clean up, at the end of the present month. Birnoy and party, tributers in the Welcome mine, have just finished crushing two small trial lots from their tribute section but the results have not yet transpired. The several parties of tributers in the M ungakara mine are pushing on with the work of developing their respective sections from which they expect to get enough of the precious metal to pay them fair wages.
