THE ROTHSCHILDS EXCITED.
The Rothschilds clan are by no means delighted at the unconquerable resolution of Helen de Rothschild, the only daughter of the late Baron Solomon of Paris, to marry Captain Yon Smosseir, a young officer in the Belgian army. The opposition of the young- lady's mother and other relatives will prevent the ceremony from taking place before August. Mile. Helen already possesses an immense fortune, and her dot will ultimately amount to £6,000,000 — a sum which her future husband has only read of in romances. Mile, de Rothschild has purchased the splendid hotel of Baron Hirsch, neai the Champs Elyssees, as a future residence for heiself and her husband.
