A Pertinent Remark Which Discouraged a Prince.
The Prince of Wales added another to his long list o! blunders in connection with the egregious Imperial Institute when he caused letters to be sent to several leading Masonic lodges asking for grants toward the scheme. This request induced a well-known brother to rise and a9k whether the Prince was in need of pecuniary assistance, as the Masonic fund is applied to charitable purposes. __ This practical remark put an abrupt termination to the scheme.
