TE AROHA.
Durin6 the pa^t week the Tui district has been visile J by a Glasgow gentleman, who is acting for some home cipitalists, and lias taken away a number of samples of ore from various portions of tho field for testing purposes. He returned to Auculand yesterday ; and something further will probably be heard ere long as to the result of his investigations. A test pared of one ton of Tui ore has just been treated by Mr H. H. Adams, at Waiorongomai battery for Mr C. A. Comes ; the ore being treated by thechlorination process. The result has not yet been made public, but it is believed to be very satisfactory.
