Thought He Was Sick.
" Are you feeling better, Mr Featherly 2" asked Bobby, at dinner-table. "Feeling bjtter? I haven't been sick, Bobby." "I didn't know," said Bobby, indifferently. "Ma an' pa were talking about your genealogy last night, and ma said it couldn't be much worae, I supposed you if ere Bick."
An old lady in St. Helens lightod her candle, and went out to a neighbour's house, where she stayed several hours, an it cm returning found her i-oom was dark. She immediately raised a report that her house had been broken into, for her candle was gone.
