A STORM IN GREAT BRITAIN.
Heavy gales prevail throughout England and Ireland on December Sbh, and communication by telegraph is seriously interfered with. The gale abated somewhat during daybroik. but raged with increase violence during the night over the whole kingdom, In the west of Ireland the storm was terrific. Steamers are delayed in making Queonstown, and all the harbours are filled with shipping, A high tide at Limerick is flooding warehouses on thg water front, and at Armagh the spinning mills have been stopped by thefloods. Damage done to property, accidents, and some cases of houses being set on fire by lightning are reported from all parts of (he kingdom, A French vessel foundered off Lymechurch and six persons were drowned. On the Danish coast many vessels have been wrecked.
